Boeckman comes out of opening drive throwing, connects with Robiskie on 30-yard touchdown

COLUMBUS, Ohio - I said in the pregame notes that the key to the game for the Buckeyes was scoring on the first drive. Well, Boeckman and Co. delivered to jump out to an early 7-0 lead. It took less than three minutes.

On the opening play of the game, Boeckman and the Buckeyes wasted no time as he hooked up with wideout Brian Hartline for a 18-yard catch to get things rolling. Eight and 13-yard passes to Brian Robiskie and Ray Small moved them further down the field, before Boeckman capped off the drive with a 30-yard bomb to Robiskie. Robo ran a post to the 10, then cut back hard and left the cornerback lying flat on his face.

Boeckman finished the drive 5-of-6 for 71-yards. The Badgers, meanwhile, seem to be marching the ball down the field efficiently through the air. They currently stand at the 50-yard line and are on the move.
