FSU on top

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The BC defense was the first to crack, and Drew Weatherford took advantage.

Weatherford connected with a diving Preston Parker on a 23-yard pass over the middle. Unless BC can punch the ball in over the final 4:52 of the half, it will be the second straight game the No. 2 ranked Eagles have been held scoreless in the first half.

The score has also deflated an already weather-beaten Alumni Stadium crowd, so the Eagles could use a big play heading in to halftime. Antone Smith has been the offensive star for the Seminoles, racking up 86 yards on the ground and through the air, while BC's Matt Ryan now missed four straight passes.
