Kansas gets on the board, trails 21-7

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - It took two and a half quarters, but Kansas' offense has finally come to life.

The Jayhawks just answered a Missouri scoring drive with a spirited seven-play touchdown drive to pull within 14 points with 7:21 remaining in the third quarter. The key play of the drive was a 34-yard pass to Dezmon Briscoe, who dove to grab the ball at the five-yard line. The Jayhawks punched it in from one-yard out three plays later and are now trying to stop Missouri's potent offense.
