So long from T-Town

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Well that was a close one.

LSU pulled it out, winning 41-34. The Tigers once again found a way to win in the fourth quarter.

Now with Boston College losing against FSU, it looks like the No. 3 Tigers could have a date in the national championship game.

Player of the game: Have to go with Chad Jones. Two sacks, one of which causing the John Parker Wilson fumble which set up LSU's final score. He was blitzing all over the place and was clearly in Wilson's head.

Play of the game: Gotta go with the aforementioned fumble. Alabama was set up for a last minute game-winning drive and the fumble put the ball on the LSU 3-yard line with 1:26 left.

What's next?

For Alabama, it's a grudge match against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs wrecked the Tide last year in Tusclaoosa.

LSU on the other hand gets a little breather with a homecoming game against Louisiana Tech.
