Tech trying to avoid OU comeback

LUBBOCK, Texas - A 65-yard scoring pass from Joey Halzle to Manuel Johnson has trimmed the Texas Tech lead to 34-20 with 7:50 remaining in regulation.

The Sooners went 91 yards in just 1:42, converting a 4th-and-1 at their own 18-yard line. Halzle hit tight end Jermain Gresham with an 18-yarder to keep the drive alive.

OU's defense, which has limited Tech to seven second-half points, must find a way to get the ball back from Graham Harrell and the Red Raider offense.
