Todd Reesing continues to impress, Kansas leads 28-7

LAWRENCE, Kan. - At this point, the question isn't whether or not Kansas will hang on and defeat Iowa State. It's if Todd Reesing is a great quarterback or the greatest quarterback.

Reesing has completed 17 of his 18 pass attempts for 221 yards and four touchdowns through one half. Wide receiver Dexton Fields has been his favorite target, gaining 82 yards on seven receptions. As of halftime, the Jayhawks have outgained the Cyclones 326 yards to 177.

Iowa State's rushing offense has been nonexistent. Alexander Robinson has just 16 yards on nine carries. The Kansas cornerbacks have done a great job containing Iowa State wide receiver Todd Blythe, combining for 12 tackles.

Kansas leads 28-7 at the half.
