Halftime statistics, Notes for second half

Total offensive plays/yards: Washington, 40/240; Hawaii 36/318
Rushing yards: Washington, 30-189; Hawaii 10-94
Fumbles: Hawaii 3
Third down conversions: Washington 0-5; Hawaii 3-5
Possession time: Washington 15:55; Hawaii 14:05

Colt Brennan set a new school record for most consecutive completions with 17 to close the half.

Hawaii's defense needs to stop the Washington rushing game. They've done a good job at stopping the Huskies on third down, but they need to improve on first and second down plays. Washington is doing an excellent job at covering Colt Brennan. They're finding holes through the offensive line and have made some big stops defensively. The offense must convert on third down as they were 0-5 in the first half. Look for a momentum shift now in the third quarter as Hawaii was fired up at the close of the half.
