Johnson just watchin for now

BOISE, Idaho — Former Navy coach Paul Johnson was recently hired to take over the Georgia Tech football program. Today, however, the Johnson is just watching the Yellow Jackets play Fresno State in the Roady's Humanitarian Bowl.
Running back Jonathan Dwyer scored from two yards out to cut Georgia Tech's deficit to 34-21 with just over 2 minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Johnson arrived in town last night and met with media in the pressbox at halftime.
He said he's here to watch his new team.
"... You just sit there and watch the team," he said. "That's about all you can do."
Johnson said he will have a staff meeting after the new year and focus on recruiting.
He said he would wait until after the bowl game to name his coaching staff.
