Okie State Dokie

TEMPE, Ariz. -- It's been all Oklahoma State during the first two quarters of the 2007 Insight Bowl.

Heading into the locker room, the Cowboys not only hold a 35-10 lead, but know it came with relative ease.

OSU quarterback Zac Robinson has been apart of four of the Cowboys' five touchdowns, having rushed for two and thrown for two. His lone mistake came at the end of the first half when an overthrown pass to wide receiver Dez Bryant was picked off by Indiana safety Nick Polk.

Indiana's offense has been smothered by the OSU defense and though quarterback Kellen Lewis is known as a duel threat, a majority of his runs so far have come as a result of defensive pressure.

And while time of possession is nearly even (Indiana 15:58, Oklahoma State 13:53), the Cowboys have crushed the Hooisers offensively by leading in total yards (322 to 196) and first downs (20 to 10).

If the Hoosiers want back in this game they need to make adjustments on both sides of the football otherwise they'll want to forget this night, despite playing in their first bowl game in 14 years.

And don't think a comeback isn't possible. In last year's Insight Bowl, Texas Tech came from 31 points down after halftime to defeat Minnesota 44-41 in overtime. Indiana certainly has the offense to pull off such a feat.
