Tech Strikes Back

JACKSONVILLE, Fl. - Virginia Tech got back within three points, 10-7, thanks to a 5-yard fade from Sean Glennon to Josh Morgan, his second touchdown in an ACC Championship game.

The touchdown capped off a 77-yard drive in which Virginia Tech finally seemed to find an offensive rhythm. Glennon was 3 of 4 passing for 38 yards, and Tyrod Taylor picked up a key third down on a designed quarterback run. The Hokies were also helped along by two Boston College penalties, a late hit and pass interference.

BC has more than doubled Tech's time of possession, controlling the ball for almost 11 of 15 minutes in the first quarter, but Frank Beamer has to be taking a sigh of relief after his offense finally showed an ability to move the ball.

BC is back on the move with three first downs in three plays, driving at the Tech 35.
