You Can't Trust a Buffalo

SHREVEPORT, La. - Well, credit the Buffaloes for stopping Alabama on its last drive of the half.

And credit Dan Hawkins for using two of his timeouts on that drive to get the Buffaloes the ball back with 1:11 left in the half.

Colorado quarterback Cody Hawkins hit wide receiver Dusty Sprague with four seconds remaining in the half to bring the score to 27-14 in favor of Alabama.

When the Crimson Tide got out to a 27-0 lead, we all knew that it wouldn't last. That there was no way Colorado could be that bad.

And they're not, but they're still down by 13 points. They get the ball back at the start of the third quarter. Let's see how this plays out.
