Georgia lead at two touchdowns

NEW ORLEANS - Georgia just increased its Sugar Bowl lead to 17-3 with a 52-yard field goal from Brandon Coutu.

The field goal was the first 50-yard plus field goal in the Sugar Bowl since 2001. Georgia's scoring drive lasted 10 plays but was hampered by penalties and covered only 20 yards.

On the ensuing possession, Hawai'i quarterback Colt Brennan threw into double coverage on the left side of the field and was intercepted. Georgia now has the ball on the Warriors' 42-yard line.
