Missouri Strikes First

DALLAS - Tony Temple, not Darren McFadden, scored the Cotton Bowl's first rushing touchdown.

Temple's 22-yard run capped off a six-play, 73-yard drive late in the first quarter. Missouri leads 7-0.

Arkansas opened the game with a drive into the red zone. But Missouri stuffed McFadden on third-and-4, and Alex Tejada missed a 36-yard field goal.
