Moreno finds endzone again

NEW ORLEANS - Freshman Knowshon Moreno is making an early case for the Sugar Bowl MVP award.

Georgia's young tailback just rushed for his second touchdown of the night and gave the Bulldogs a 14-3 lead over Hawai'i. His run capped a seven-play, 65-yard drive for Georgia.

As the first quarter winds down, the Bulldogs' offense has looked more efficient than Hawai'i's hyped run-and-shoot attack. Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford has managed the game effectively so far, completing 4 of 5 passes for 46 yards.

Georgia had eight first downs in the first quarter. Hawai'i had four.
