Somebody other than Rice scores for Rutgers

TORONTO, On. - The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are not simply a one-man team.

While running back Ray Rice has been unstoppable today, Rutgers just scored a touchdown in another way as Mike Teel connected with Tiquan Underwood to put the Scarlet Knights on top 45-23 against Ball State with 9:55 left in the International Bowl.

It was a nice response to a Ball State touchdown on the previous drive as Nate Davis threw a six-yard touchdown pass to Darius Hill.

The ensuing onside kick attempt failed and Rutgers was in perfect position to take advantage of a reeling Ball State defense.
