That's 2,000

TORONTO, On. - Ray Rice has just hit the 2,000-yard rushing mark for the season with a 12-yard run to end the third quarter. He becomes the fifth player in NCAA history to accomplish that feat.

Rice's Rutgers Scarlet Knights lead the Ball State Cardinals 38-16. Ball State quarterback Nate Davis fumbled in Rutgers territory on the previous play, giving the ball back to the Scarlet Knights.

The attendance has been announced as 31,455, almost 4,000 more than the crowd at last year's game. Bowl organizers will be happy with the figure.
