They're Cowboys and they're winners of the Insight Bowl

TEMPE, Ariz. -- For all Oklahoma State has experienced this year - an upset loss to Troy, a press conference tirade for the ages and another heartbreaking loss to Texas - it can take solace in how it ended.

The Cowboys (7-6) handedly defeated the Indiana Hooisers (7-6), 49-33, on the final of day 2007 in the Insight Bowl.

Cowboys counting down at Insight Bowl

Opening-drive scores at Insight Bowl

TEMPE, Ariz. -- No surprise: both Indiana and Oklahoma State scored on their opening drives.

Indiana had to settle for a field goal after Oklahoma State used a third-down blitz to halt the Hooisers' drive. The Cowboys drove 67 yards in six plays and about two minutes for a Dantrell Savage touchdown.
