Big XII: Henrickson picks up the T, KU fans cheer

By Jean Neuberger - March 07, 2007

Baylor's Angela Tisdale was fighting to steal the ball from Kansas's Danielle McCray. The refs said Tisdale successfully stole the ball and was fouled. Jayhawks Coach Bonnie Henrickson disagreed and said something to the refs. It wasn't a yell, because right now, the crowd is so small that you can hear the coaches if they're yelling. What she said though was enough to earn a technical foul, to which then Henrickson shouted "WHAT?" (which everyone in the arena heard), followed by a small roaring ovation from the section of Jayhawk fans.

It's just been that kind of night for Kansas.

Angela Tisdale's free throws now have made it a 49-32 Baylor lead with 11:30 to go...and the Bears seem to have this one wrapped up. At least the OU staff thinks so, as they have quit scouting the Bears and have gone home.
