Big XII: New Tournament Record Set

By Jean Neuberger - March 07, 2007

Oklahoma just broke the Big XII Tournament record for blocked shots in a game. The Sooners blocked 15 Texas shots, smashing the old record of 10 set by Kansas State in 2003. Leading the way were Courtney Paris and Amanda Thompson with five blocks apiece, while Ashley Paris had three blocks of her own.

Right now, it's a defensive battle in the nightcap, with Baylor leading Kansas 4-3 after the first 3:30 of the game.
