Tennessee: Foster Is Back, Hopefully

When Tennessee junior running back Arian Foster decided earlier this month to return for his senior season rather than skip out early for the NFL, the Vols got a huge boost. Foster has the chance to become Tennessee's all-time leading rusher during his fourth year in Knoxville since his 1,193 yards in 2007 leave him just 685 yards shy of the UT career mark. Friday handed the Vols some less-than-great news, however, as the school announced that Foster has undergone knee surgery to repair an unspecified injury.

Senior Bowl Busted

Texas wide receiver Limas Sweed can't catch a break. After an injury-plagued season allowed the senior to see time in only six of the team's 13 games, it looks like the Senior Bowl has been no nicer to him . Sweed aggravated an existing injury to his left wrist during one-on-one drills early in the week and as a result, has spent much of his senior week experience sitting and watching. Not exactly what this fifth-year senior, former all-conference selection had in mind.
