Big 12: Big Leg

Get ready for some long distance attempts at Colorado this season. Dan Hawkins is ready, and willing to let Mason Crosby kick away at the record books.

Crosby, Colorado's talented kicked who's made a 60 yarder in a game before, will get the change to attempt a 70 yarder in a game this season if things break right. Hawkins said he'd love to see it happen and Crosby said that Hawkins has assured him they'll give it a try at some point in the season - no matter the situation.

Don't think it can happen? The guy has made a 70 yarder plenty of times in practice and his personal record - he put on through the uprights from 75 yards away last fall.

Hawkins and the rest of the Buffaloes are counting their blessings that Crosby decided to come back to school after giving some thought about entering the NFL Draft.
