Big 12: Big Nothing

Adrian Peterson: Please give us more.

The media is pleading with the star running back for the Sooners to give us something to use. But he doesn't budge. Like when asked who he thinks the Heisman favorite will be: He has no answer to give, just kind of laughs off the question. Same thing when asked about his Heisman chances, if he thinks he's the favorite to win it. Nothing again. Just a little laugther and esentially a brush off.

If this guy was colorful and gave great answers to reporters questions, there's no doubt he'd win the Heisman in a land slide. I'm not even close to being aware of how political the Heisman voting is, but I've heard and read about it being such. If the media likes you and put up very good numbers, you're going to win it without a problem. This isn't to say the media doesn't like Peterson. He seems like a good guy from my first impression of him.

But give him credit. He answered all the questions about his father - once again - who's on his way out of prison in the coming months. I can't imagine it being an easy subject to speak about, but Peterson did so without pause.
