SEC: A Hard Act to Follow

By - July 26, 2006

Vanderbilt head coach Bobby Johnson is up at the podium now and was just talking about former starting QB Jay Cutler and how much he'll be missed. And with the career that Cutler put together at Vandy, who can blame him?

Cutler was a four-year starter at Vandy and owns Commodore career records in passing yards, completions, and attempts, as well as touchdown passes. The reigning SEC Offensive Player of the Year, Cutler went on to become the 11th pick of the Denver Broncos. Needless to say, whoever steps in at QB for Vandy has some very big shoes to fill.
