Preseason Games?

Preseason games? Nevada QB Jeff Rowe wouldn't be opposed to the idea.

Rowe, entering his senior season with the Wolf Pack, thinks insituting preseason games would be benficial for teams.

"I think i could be a good idea, with a scrimmage situation or something like that," Rowe said. "We're three weeks long, hitting each other. I wouldn't mind it. I think it would be a good idea."

Ask just about any player and they'll tell you that seeing the same face over and over again for three weeks gets really old and stal in a hurry. They want to hit someone else, want a different challenge, a change of scenery, plus it gives you a chance to see where you measure up with another team.

But then there's always the risk of injury, something the NFL deals with on a yearly basis as some of the its best players are struck down with injuries in meaningless games.

Rowe understands the very real concern.

"At the same time, its a risk getting your players hurt from a coaching standpoint."
