Michigan Mauling?

By Adam Caparell - September 16, 2006

The Wolverines are off to one heck of a start in a must-win game for Lloyd Carr. Turnovers are just killing the Irish as they find themselves down 20-7. We'll really see what kind of coach Charlie Weis is soon, I guess. I don't think its possible for Brady Quinn to have worse first quarter stats than he has and the Irish right now have more penalty yards than rushing yards. Things better pick up soon.

Kyle Wright's thrown some nice balls for the Hurricanes and his receivers are burning the Louisville secondary. But Miami hasn't been able to captialize on all their opportunities. You can't do that on the road. Miami should be up by at least another score. It's only 7-3 mid way through the second quarter.

And to absolutely no one's surprise, Auburn and LSU are in a scoreless tie in the second quarter. This game is going to 12-9, 13-10 kind of game. The first team to get past 12 wins.
