Rolling Razorbacks

By Adam Caparell - November 11, 2006

Arkansas is really showing something against Tennessee tonight. They’re just absolutely handing it to the Vols right now at the half, 28-7.

I’ve been wrong about the Razorbacks all season long and haven’t really respected the kind of team they have. I’ve been waiting for them to falter and finally be exposed. But that hasn’t been the case so far. Darren McFadden has to be considered for the Heisman Trophy. He can’t be slowed down, even with the Vols eight man fronts. Is there really a better back in the nation right now? I think not. Felix Jones is a great compliment and there doesn't seem to be too much QB controversy talk right now. Everything is great when you're up 21.

- How far is Pittsburgh falling? Losing to a bad UConn team in double-overtime after that defeat from South Florida. The game was in East Hartford, but come one, the Panthers are a better team than that. Look out next weekend when West Virginia comes to town with the Mountaineers off that impressive performance against an underrated Cincinnati team.

- Penn State didn’t miss Joe Paterno too much today, beating Temple 47-0, did they? Then again, it was Temple the Nittany Lions were playing. If there ever was a game Paterno could miss without worrying one bit about his team, it’s against the lowly Owls.

- We could be down to three undefeated teams by the end of the evening. Boise State is losing to San Jose State, albeit by one.
