NFL Draft: We Have An Arron Rodgers Situation On Our Hands

By Adam Caparell - April 28, 2007

NEW YORK - Marshawn Lynch went to the Bills at No. 12 and that means there are no teams within the next 10 picks meaning Brady Quinn is about to enter the Aaron Rodgers stratosphere of green room awkwardness.

Rodgers, if you remember, was the Cal QB was highly touted entering the draft, only to watch him fall all the way into the late first round where the Packers finally snatched him up. But he was shown front and center squirming and sighing in the green room for hours more than he planned before finally hearing his named called at No. 24 at the 2005 NFL Draft.

Quinn can't be comfortable right now. Fortunately he can lean on the shoulder of his girlfriend who has been prominently displayed throughout the day on the big screens here.

Marshawn Lynch. Simply the best RB in the draft.
