McFadden's Trick and Treat

By Adam Caparell - October 16, 2007

Darren McFadden's been known to clown around. This year, fans can help him get in the act.

Last year's Heisman Trophy runner-up, and one of the leading cadidates to win it this year, is soliciting suggestions from Arkansas and college football fans alike as to what he and fellow running back Felix Jones should dress up as for Halloween.

Last year, McFadden spent Halloween as a clown, walking around campus in the outfit and creating quite a national stir. This year he wants his good friend Jones to join the fun.

Fans can log onto or and place their vote between The Blues Brothers, Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble and Sonny and Cher. McFadden and Jones, who combined are averaging 249.2 yards per game on the ground, will wear whatever costumes the fans choose Wednesday, Oct. 31 during their day as the Razorbacks prepare for South Carolina that weekend.

But hand it to McFadden and Jones - or whoever came up with the idea - because there's a significant treat for their tricks. Whatever costumes the two wear will be put up for auction on the official Arkansas web site a few days after Halloween and the money from each costume will go to the charity of the running backs' choosing; McFadden's to the Little Rock Boys and Girls Club and Jones' to the Tulsa Boys and Girls Club.
