The Colonials' Derrik Lutz, who entered the game with a 1.46 ERA and only 23 walks in 92.1 innings pitched, has struggled to find the strike zone, walking four and hitting one through three innings. Most of his problems have come against right handed hitters, where he has frequently missed low and outside. To his credit, he has bared down when he's needed to, keeping the Flyers off the scoreboard. He also has yet to give up a hit.
