A10-Heading to the 15th

By Jacob Schwartzstein - May 26, 2006

We're about to head to the 15th inning and the score is still tied at 5. The game is currently at 4 hours, 10 minutes.

The relief pitching for both teams has been superb since the 9th. GW's Derek Haese has pitched six scoreless innings in relief for Lehman, while URI's Tom Venedam and Jamie Degidio have combined for 5.2 scoreless innings.

The crowd appears to be more anxious than anything. After a raucous beginning to extra frames, the fans have quieted down considerably, but people are now lining the railings that wrap behind home plate in anticipation of SOMETHING happening offensively.
