A10-Oh God the fog horn is back

St. Louis finally broke through with the first runs of the game in the top of the ninth inning with a three-run homer from catcher Bill Musselman, his second on the year. The Billikens bench mobbed Musselman at the plate and the crowd went wild, with one unfortunate person making use of their mini fog horn.
With one out, Johnny Sweeney reached base on a throwing error by Bonnies' shortstop Josh Perkins. Greg Rodgers followed that with a single and pitcher Cody Vincent was pulled in favor of lefty John Zinnicker. Early in the count Musselman pulled a ball deep down the leftfield line that curved foul. Two pitches later, he straigtened it out, hitting the leftfield fair pole.
The Billikens added another run after a successful double steal. With a runner on third, Tim Landy took off from first base and when the catcher threw down to second, the funner from third ran home, just getting by Brandon Salerno's tag.
As I type this, Jon Guyre rounds the bases for St. Louis after smacking a three-run homer over the leftfield wall. This game is officially a blowout with the Billikens up 7-0 going into the bottom of the ninth.
