A10-Tension/excitement rising

By Jacob Schwartzstein - May 27, 2006

The pitchers in this game between St. Louis and St. Bonaventure have been fantastic. The score remains 3-2 in favor of the Bonnies entering the eighth inning.

Every pitch has been getting a huge reaction from fans of both teams. When St. Louis is batting, every ball is cheered wildly by Billikens fans and vice versa with Bonnies fans. For the Bonnies, it's do-or-die and the players look like they know it. After they get out of the eighth inning, the players come out of the dugout and start waving their arms in the air, requesting more noise from their fans, and the Bonnies faithful oblige with a chant of "Let's go Bonnies!"

Side arm hurler Eric Mueller has entered the game in the ninth as the new pitcher for the Billikens.
