Now, about that home run call...

According to the "ground rules" posted in each dugout, Rule No. 6 states that any ball that hits the yellow is "in play." So... Ramon Corona's home run was wrongly ruled? Well, the TV guys are now saying it may have hit the railing behind the yellow pad. I think the umps are just covering their donkey.

To be honest, this ruling may be water under bridge before all is said and done as both teams seem to be scoring with frequency. Tony Thomas for Florida State was able to score on a single with a pair of throwing errors that had the Pack looking like that Chico's Bail Bonds team.
