ACC: I've never seen an inning like this...

By Eric Sorenson - May 28, 2006

The wheels have come off for Tech... no, let me re-state that, the Earth opens up and swallows the team bus all at once.

Clemson scores 10 (ten) runs in the 9th to put this game way, waaaaaaay out of reach. Right? It IS out of reach, isn't it? (He says nervously in this 15-hour day of baseball).

It got so bad that assistant coach Bryan Prince had to take an irate pitcher Lee Hyde (who wasn't in the game, he was just madder than a wet hen) for a "cooling off" walk down the right field line while Clemson was pulling the track meet trick at the plate.

it should have been but clemson just cannot close out a game against tech any other team it would have been one two three inning. the ramblin wreck from georgia tech is a arch nemesis to us.
