ACC: Key moment of the game

Top of 8. Tigers down 5-3 with the bases loaded and only one out. 1B Andy D'Alessio, who's been hobbled by a tricky ankle he turned prior to yesterday's game against the Jackets, got a full-count walk to bring in one run.

With the game now 5-4, Tech honcho Danny Hall took out Tim Ladd and brought in righty Brad Rulon. But Stan Widman made short work of that change as he cut a fast ball into left field, scoring two and giving the purple and orange the lead at 6-5.

Danny Hall makes yet another pitching change, so I'm sending this in now.
