NCAA: two more at-large bids are saved, one may be lost

By Eric Sorenson - May 27, 2006

Teams like LSU, Stanford and Michigan may have to show a debt of gratitude to both Notre Dame and Troy for winning their respective conference tourneys over low-seeded teams.

Notre Dame beat Louisville 7-0

Troy beat Middle Tennessee 10-6.

On the down side, Winthrop trails Liberty 8-6 in the top of the 7th and would need to win two games from the Flames to win the Big South.
