SEC: 'Dogs Bite Back

By Jessica Garrison - May 26, 2006

Joey Side just officially dug the Bulldogs out of a very, very big hole. South Carolina was up 9-0, but Side's two-run homer just gave Georgia the 10-9 lead. How'd we get here, you ask? Blink and you might've missed it...

Georgia reacted immediately going down in the second. They put up a five-fun third, followed it with three runs in the fourth, and are working on the two-run gift from side with no outs in the top of the fifth. Just when you thought it was safe to think "blowout", Georgia gets itself right back into a hitfest.

Yesterday we got to see the Bulldogs put the 16-10 hurt on Kentucky after going down early. Makes sense, they say it's a bad idea to pick on a bulldog -- they tend to bite back.
