Athens: UGA Threat Snuffed Out, still 9-0

Georgia loaded the bases with 1 out, but Harris Honeycutt worked his way out of the jam, and SC now heads to the third up 9-0, as the Carolina fans finally get a chance to sit down.
You've got to give credit to the Gamecock fans....they've had a lot to cheer about, but even when UGA bats, the Gamecock fans are mostly off their seats instead of sitting down. Great fan support by the Gamecocks.
And as for the Gamecock team, well, Ray Tanner knows what he's doing, and a certain SC hitting coach just might be getting some head coaching interviews soon, given the remarkable power surge from Carolina in the first two innings.
