Athens: Wyatt does it again, 7-3 UGA

By - June 12, 2006

Wynn Pelzer was finally replaced by Chase Tucker, but only after loading the bases full of Bulldogs. Jonathan Wyatt, who has been clutch all weekend for UGA and deserves MVP consideration, singled up the middle to bring home 2 Bulldogs and push the Georgia lead to 7-3.

Ray Tanner and the Gamecocks are just in over their heads right now. Georgia's got the momentum, along with a powerful, consistent lineup of hitters. The pitching is falling fast for Carolina, and UGA is starting to sense a second trip to Omaha in 3 years.
