Atlanta: Cougars leading
By Craig Jackson - June 10, 2006
Duces wild, and Tech begins their contortions again.
The Jackets are using all their mojo again this afternoon in an attempt to get offense going. For a moment, it looked like a fould ball would scater the fences sitters on Techwood. Jeff Kindel is fouling off pitches Nothing comes of the mojo or the inning for the Jackets. Going into the bottom of the 3rd, Cougars lead 2-1.
Will be interested to see how far the Techsters let Hyde go in the game. He has been behind on the count to most hitters, he has not looked sharp, and Charleston has mounted threats in every inning to date. The Tech pen was up and losening last inning, and they got the guy up as soon as the Jackets went back on defense. With the 3-4-5 hitters due up for the cougars, this is no time to screw around.
