Atlanta: Fisher at it again

By Chris Lee - June 03, 2006

This has to be the day of Michael Fisher's life. Earlier in the day, the Georgia Tech shortstop hit a grand-slam homer--the first of his career--in helping the Yellow Jackets beat Stetson, 7-5.

In the nightcap, Fisher already has three hits, and just knocked in two runs with that third hit, a single to center scoring Jeff Kindel and Nick Scherer (pinch-running for DH Wes Hodges). Tech now has a 5-0 lead over Vanderbilt through 5 1/2.

Pitch counts (unofficial): Price 104, Hyde 49.
