With his team up 4-1 and getting men on in droves, Georgia Tech Coach Danny Hall made a questionable move with one out in the fifth and one of his better hitters at the plate.

With his team up 4-1 and getting men on in droves, Georgia Tech Coach Danny Hall made a questionable move with one out in the fifth and one of his better hitters at the plate.

Hot-hitting Michael Fisher, who doubled in a run the previous at bat, had three hits against Vandy yesterday and a grand slam against Stetson yesterday. With a 2-2 count, Hall had Fisher try a suicide squeeze with Wally Crancer charging from third. Fisher bunted foul, and that was the second out. #1 hitter Mike Trapani then filed out to center, ending the threat.

The 'Jackets have completely dominated this game but left one on base in the first, and two in every other inning. We're in the top of the sixth, and the 'Jackets have put 14 men on base compared to Vandy's two, yet lead just 4-1.
