Charlottesville: Schrage Rage

It's a good news, bad news situation for the Purple Aces after the fourth. The good news, if you're an Evansville fan, is that it's now 3-3. The bad news is that it very well could be - and maybe even should be - 4-3.
With the bases loaded and two out, Evansville's Jim Viscomi smashed a double to deep left. It was a very well-hit ball, and Viscomi tried for third. It turned out to be the wrong move, as he was tagged out at third by Matt Geiger (although i'm not sure if Geiger actually made the tag before Viscomi's foot touched the bag).
Not only that, but it was ruled that Viscomi was tagged out before Gabe Bauer, who had been on first, crossed the plate, so instead of scoring three runs on the play, the Aces were only credited with two, which got head coach Dave Schrage plenty riled up, not to mention the Aces' fans, who are doing a nice job of making noise for their team.
The folks manning the scoreboard made things worse for a bit, when the board showed 3-2, but that was eventually corrected (the third run had been scored earlier, a Robbie Minor single to score Pat Tumilty from second).
So, it's 3-3 now in the bottom of the fifth, after Lehigh goes quietly in the top. We've got a good one going here, but someone's going home. Four and a half more innings will decide which team that is.
