Clemson: Mid 7th treat

By Craig Jackson - June 03, 2006

Seventh inning stretch time at Clemson, and we have just been serenaded by the "Legendary Danny". Harry Caray, move over, because the Legendary Danny is ready for the big show.

Stretch time is special here at Clemson. Danny leads the crowd a la Harry Caray ini singing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame". He's been doing it now for over 4 years. Clemson fans say he is quite the Tiger supporter. He makes all home and road football, baseball, basketball, and volleyball. Definitely a crowd favorite as they stretch.

Meanwhile, there is still a tight game on the field. Clemson starter Sean Clark and Ashville starter Chris Nigro are locked in a ferocius pitchers duel. Clemson has but 3 runs on 5 hits, including a double and a homerun, while Ashivlle has managed 2 hits, both singles. And as the 7th closes, Nigro pitches out of a potential jam, and we go to the 8th, with both startes still on the mound, and a fanny in every seat watchinig these two performers strut their stuff.
