Fayetteville: Hogs threaten, but come up empty

By - June 02, 2006

ORU leads 3-2 after six. The Hogs stringed 2 singles with 2 outs, thanks to Brian Walker and Matt Willard. However, Craig Gentry swung at what would have been Ball 4, and ORU escaped the inning. Right now, the freak play is the difference in the game, as ORU has 1 more run and 1 more hit than the Razorbacks.

Schmidt will start the seventh inning for the Hogs, but the bullpen is up and running for Arkansas. They have a LHP and a RHP working in the pen as we speak. Jake Kahaulelio will lead it off for the Golden Eagles in the 7th.
