Fayetteville: OSU gets a hit, but nothing else

By - June 04, 2006

Arkansas no-hit OSU earlier this season, and Ty Wright made sure history didn't repeat itself. His single, just over the reach of 2B James Ewing's glove, ended 9.1 innings of no-hit baseball for OSU against Arkansas. However, the Pokes did nothing with it, and we're scoreless in the 1st.

Oliver Odle (4-4) is the starting pitcher for OSU today. He'll pitch in front of a very energized Arkansas crowd, who have taken yesterday's win and turned the intensity up a notch. The Hog fans are loud and proud early on, as clouds begin to roll into the area.
