Fayetteville: Tensions already high early

By - June 04, 2006

A borderline pitch that could've been called either way was ruled a ball by the home plate umpire, sending OSU's Frank Anderson sprinting out of his dugout. Tempers flared, and Anderson almost got the heave-ho.

After Anderson made it back to his dugout, Fritsche walked Kahaulelio, and Andy Bouchie followed with a single up the middle, sending last night's superstar, Chad Rothford, to the plate. Rothford struck out swinging, though, and the Eagles are shut out in the first. We head to the bottom of the first, no score early on in Fayetteville.
