Houston: Halfway Home

By Jeremy Mills - June 10, 2006

Rice's threat in the bottom of the fourth resulted in one run, as Tyler Henley scored on a Brian Friday sacrifice fly to center.

In the top of the fifth, Russell Raley extended his hitting streak to seven games with a one out single to right and Ryan Rohlinger followed with a single up the middle for his second hit of the evening. After a flyout to right, Eddie Degerman struck out Brandon Moss on his 89th pitch of the evening to strand the Sooners on base.

Through 4 1/2 innings, Rice leads Oklahoma 7-2.
