Just like that, Will McDaniel ended the Sooner threat in the bottom of the sixth. With the infield drawn in to cut off the insurance run from third, the Owl sophomore got Chuckie Caufield to strike out swinging. Russell Raley grounded out to first on the next pitch, and Oklahoma was kept off the board in the sixth.
