In the top of the second, with two on and two out, Sean Coughlin pulled a double to right field, scoring two for the Cats. As we enter the bottom of the second, Kentucky leads 4-1.

Degeeter needed 29 pitches to get out of that inning and is aleady up 61 pitches on the day. In a related story, there's activity in the Cardinal bullpen.
